We speak from experience -- you'll want to know more about the benefits of attending Ohio State ATI. Here's just a sampling:

The College
The Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute is an educational unit of Ohio State's College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences.

Location
Just outside of Wooster, Ohio, a community of 26,000, our campus is located among the rolling hills and family farms of Wayne County, with its unusual mix of Amish buggies, major businesses and corporations, and charming small towns. We're conveniently located between Columbus and Cleveland and a short drive from nature activities like hiking and boating.

Campus and Facilities
You won't find another campus like ours. The horticulture complex includes 5 production greenhouses, a historic conservatory, and modern classrooms. We recently acquired Hawk's Nest Golf Club, one of the top-rated 18-hole public access courses in Ohio. Four miles east, there's a 1700-acre farm laboratory. In addition, students use the library, computer and engineering labs, and student activities center, and live in our residence hall and townhouse apartment village. Enrollment
Approximately 800 full- and part-time students are enrolled at Ohio State ATI, 500 of whom live on campus.

Faculty
Most of our faculty have worked in the real world -- as dairy producers, home builders, landscapers, and more. And with a student-to-faculty ratio of 17:1, you'll really benefit from that experience in the classroom.

Academics
Ohio State ATI offers 28 majors or "technologies," plus certificate programs in hydraulics and commercial turf equipment. Students can earn an Associate of Applied Science, Associate of Science, or Certificate of Competency. To learn more about the differences between these degree options, click here.

Athletics
While you may not think of our Wooster campus as an athletic powerhouse (we leave that to the Columbus campus!), we do offer students the opportunity to play sports with intramural teams, fostering healthy competition, physical fitness, and extra-curricular camaraderie.

Activities
More than 20 student groups, clubs, and leadership opportunities exist on campus, from Interfaith to the Horticulture Club to the Student Ambassadors. To learn more about activities and student life, click here.

Tuition and Fees
In 2007-2008, the average total cost for instruction, room and board, and other university fees for an Ohio resident is $13,206 per regular school year (fall, winter, spring quarters). For out-of-state residents, the cost is $25,815. Additional fees for personal expenses, including books and transportation, are not included in these figures. Financial Aid
Ohio State ATI makes every effort to help students who have limited financial resources obtain the funds needed to enroll. Financial aid consists of need- and merit-based scholarships, grants, loans, and part-time on-campus employment.

Learning Resources
Academic support is provided to students through faculty advising, professional and peer tutoring, personal and career counseling, math and writing labs, disability services, and the Library Learning Resources Center.
